Morocco's Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, held talks Tuesday in Rabat with the minister of Economy, industry, investment in charge of the economic integration of the Union of the Comoros, Mzé Abdou Mohamed Chanfiou.
Talks focused on the means to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
Speaking to MAP at the end of this meeting, Mr. Mohamed Chanfiou said that the discussions focused in particular on the development of economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
The Comorian Minister stressed that his visit to the Kingdom takes place following the conference of development partners held in Paris in December 2019, which seeks to mobilize all bilateral, multilateral and private sector partners, adding in this regard that Morocco has provided its support to accompany the country in its emerging recovery plan.
Morocco's support reflects a strong message of brotherhood and a determination to support the Comoros in their development plan, he underlined.
In addition, the Comorian Minister praised the important role of Morocco, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, in supporting the Comoros in the management of the health crisis.
