'We are all Palestinians', a Moroccan media expert writes

Operation “Al Aqsa Flood” changes the geopolitical situation in the Middle East. Palestinians, convinced that rights are to be won and not offered, are taking a new step.

From now on there will be a day after October 7, 2023 in the Middle East and more precisely on the Palestinian question. Because the world has relegated this issue, for years, to oblivion, lending the State of Israel an inexplicable tolerance while turning a blind eye to its contempt for the resolutions of the Security Council and the agreements signed in particular the peace agreement stimulating the coexistence of two States.

And came this unprecedented surprise attack, since the creation of the Hebrew State in 1948, to once again see the West line up as one man behind Israel, expressing its unwavering support and condemning with one voice "a barbarity which targets civilian women, children and the elderly”. This same West, always giving lessons but hypocrite to the core, has never moved a finger in the face of Israel's atrocious crimes in the Palestinian territories. Indeed, three days before the Hamas attack, Israeli soldiers attacked two young veiled Palestinian girls. They took off their veils and undressed them in front of racist settlers recording the moment through their smartphone cameras.

These settlers, armed and escorted by Hebrew soldiers, are used to sowing terror between Palestinian civilians devoid of any protection. They expropriate their propertys, destroy their fields, beat them and often shoot them point blank. Leaving behind them corpses littering the road. The only crime of these Palestinians is refusing to leave their home so that the settlers can appropriate it! And even when these Palestinians ask for nothing, they just want to pray in peace in their holy places, they are provoked, insulted and attacked. But journalists are not spared. It is enough that their vests or cameras bear an indication in Arabic that they are the target of shoving, spitting and assault.

poor Western souls sensitive to violence against civilians do not see any abuse, not even when the Tsahal bombs funeral processions, mosques or even hospitals. At best, some Western voices are asking both parties to “restrain” in a voiceless tone! We thus put the executioner and the victim in the same bag.

To this hypocritical West, I say that Israel has never been the only democracy in the region, it is only indecent propaganda that you have been rehashing for decades. Because a democratic regime does not occupy the territory of others, does not bomb civilians and does not tolerate its citizens carrying weapons and using them against poor Palestinian citizens. A state that acts in this way is nothing more and nothing less than a rogue state.

In this context, what can we expect from an oppressed population, deprived of its territory and massacred on a daily basis than to resist until the explosion. This is why the few wise voices around the world continue to remind the international community of the commitments made by the Jewish State, never respected, in particular the right to a Palestinian State. In the meantime, Israel's blind and enraged response will only provoke among the Palestinians a feeling of collective suicide with the consequences that we know on both sides. Thus, there would be no peace between Israelis and Palestinians until the dawn of deliverance and independence, sooner or later.
