UK: Morocco Participates in the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT)

Morocco participated in the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), one of the world's largest air shows, held from July 19 to 21 at the British Air Force's Fairford base, in the West of England.

The Royal Air Force (FRA) took part in the event with two F-16s (F-16C and F-16D) on static display as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations for this aircraft type.

A C-130H aircraft from the FRA provided logistical support for the deployment of these jets.

The three-day event saw the participation of over 250 aircraft, as well as exhibitions and debates featuring some of the biggest names in the aviation sector.

Major General Mohammed Gadih, Inspector of the FRA, took part in the event, as well as in The Chief of the Air Staff’s Global Air & Space Chiefs’ Conference (GASCC).

This conference, held on the eve of RIAT, brought together global leaders in Air and Space Power with captains of industry and technology, enhanced by experts from international academia.

Attending these two events was an opportunity for the FRA Inspector to hold talks with his counterparts from brotherly and friendly countries, as well as with industrialists specializing in aeronautics.
