The three military planes of the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces carrying the first batch of emergency medical aid ordered by King Mohammed VI for the benefit of Tunisia, which is experiencing a worsening of its epidemiological situation linked to Covid-19, landed Thursday afternoon at Tunis airport.
This medical aid was delivered in the presence of several senior Tunisian officials, including Nadia Oukacha, minister, director of the Office of the President of the Republic and Brahim Bertegi, minister of National Defense and Faouzi Mehdi, minister of Health, as well as the Moroccan ambassador to Tunisia, Hassan Tariq.
The three military planes, each carrying 13.5 tons of medical aid, took off Thursday morning from the 3rd Royal Air Force base of Kenitra to Tunisia, as part of the emergency medical aid ordered by the King for this brotherly Maghreb country.
Other military aircraft will fly to Tunisia in the coming days to continue the delivery of this medical aid, which is part of the ties of active solidarity between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Tunisia, as well as the genuine brotherhood between the two brotherly peoples.
