Geneva: Human rights organization protests against "crimes" of Polisario, Algeria in Tindouf camps

The human rights organization "The White Dove" condemned what it described as "war crimes committed by Polisario and Algeria in the Tindouf camps," on the sidelines of the 56th session of the Human Rights Council.

"The White Dove" organization has been organizing a sit-in since June 24 for three days in the Place des Nations under the slogan "Stop the war crimes committed by Polisario and the Algerian military junta in the Tindouf camps." This protest has attracted visitors' attention with an informational exhibition and banners around the Place des Nations.

Human rights activists participating in the sit-in are raising slogans demanding the prosecution of Polisario and Algeria for the human rights violations they committed against the residents of the Tindouf camps.

Moreover, the protesters also highlighted the recruitment of child soldiers by Polisario, in addition to arbitrary detentions and enforced disappearances in Algeria.

The protesters called on the international community to act to stop the severe violations committed in the Tindouf camps and to protect the rights of the Sahrawis.
