The 18th edition of Agadir's International Cinema and Migrations Festival has been postponed, following the decision of the Moroccan government to ban all festivals and cultural and artistic events.
Initially scheduled from December 13 to 18, the festival has been postponed to the period between February 4 and 10, announces the event's organizer the Association "L’Initiative Culturelle".
The government announced that "on the basis of the legal provisions relating to the management of the state of health emergency and with the aim of strengthening the necessary preventive measures intended to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus", it was decided "to ban all festivals and all cultural and artistic events".
