Major European stock exchanges were higher at the opening bell on Tuesday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up 0.48%, or 0.1.88 points, to 390.62.
The UK's FTSE 100 index increased 0.32%, or 22.7 points, to 7,043.65.
Germany's DAX 30 climbed 1.11%, or 135.85 points, to 12,363.
In France, the CAC 40 opened the day at 5,811.66, a rise of 0.73%, or 42.27 points.
Italy's FTSE MIB was up 0.86%, or 181.75 points, to 21,389, while Spain's IBEX 35 gained 0.71%, or 53.1 points, to 7,561.6.
