Units of the Royal Armed Forces in charge of coastal surveillance intercepted, on Sunday about 190 km south of the town of Dakhla, a beached pirogue with 122 sub-Saharan would-be migrants on board, including a corpse and a minor, according to a statement by the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
The arrested people, who were planning to reach the Canary Islands, were given the necessary care before being handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual administrative procedures, the same source added.
