Informed sources from Dubai to "Assahifa": Reports of banning Moroccan women from entering the UAE are false

Informed sources from Dubai have dismissed the reports claiming that the United Arab Emirates has issued a decision to prohibit Moroccan women holding passports from entering the Gulf country as false.

The same sources told Assahifa, that these claims are "far from accurate," and no official decision has been issued to prevent Moroccan travelers, men or women, from entering the UAE.

Assahifa's sources emphasized that no instances of entry denial have been observed in recent days. They further noted that travelers have filed no complaints of this nature.

Additionally, airlines operating flights between Morocco and the UAE have reported no Moroccan passengers being denied entry or returned. They confirmed they have not received any official notification of such a restriction from any Emirati authority, nor have they observed such incidents at any airport in the country, according to Assahifa's sources.

A government official described the circulating claims as "false and outrageous," stating that the alleged entry denials were not observed at Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport, Dubai International Airport, or any other airport in the UAE.

These denials come amid rumors on social media that UAE authorities have barred Moroccan women from entering the country for tourism, education, or work. The allegations suggest this was in response to a post by a woman claiming to be Moroccan, in which she described being subjected to "gang rape."

Some platforms also reported that Emirati border authorities were turning away Moroccan women despite having valid travel documents. These claims sparked widespread controversy and negative reactions, with some purported victims reportedly protesting, according to the allegations.
