The Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Aviv Kochavi, is expected to visit Morocco next Monday, Israeli media reported.
According to the same sources, the Israeli army chief would stay in Morocco for three days, on his first official trip to the Kingdom of Morocco.
The Israeli sources did not add any further details about this visit; however, Aviv Kochavi is expected to meet Morocco’s officials, especially army chiefs.
Morocco and Israel have recently signed several agreements of cooperation in various fields, including defense and security.
From its part, Morocco has not issued anything about the expected visit of the Israeli official.
