Morocco and Guinea Strengthen Military Cooperation During High-Level Visit

Morocco's Abdeltif Loudyi, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of the National Defense Administration, and Army General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and Commander of the Southern Zone, received, on Tuesday at the headquarters of this Administration, Army General Aboubacar Sidiki Camara, Minister of State for National Defense of the Republic of Guinea, currently on a working visit to the Kingdom, accompanied by an important delegation.

During this visit, which took place in the presence of the Guinean ambassador, the two delegations reviewed various aspects of bilateral military cooperation and explored ways to develop and elevate it to match the partnership relations that bind the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Guinea, according to a statement from the National Defense Administration.

Camara emphasized the high priority of the partnership with Morocco and took this opportunity to express his admiration for the various South-South and regional cooperation initiatives in favor of Africa, launched under the leadership of the King, which have made Morocco a dynamic actor for stability, progress, and peace in its neighborhood, particularly in Africa.

At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their shared ambition and willingness to further strengthen and diversify their cooperation in the military field in the future, reflecting the relations of friendship and mutual respect that unite the two countries, the statement concluded.
