Morocco reports a record of coronavirus cases in 24 hours

For the first time, since the emerge of the Coronavirus pandemic in Morocco, the country reported today record cases with more than 7 thousand cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Ministery, Morocco recorded over the past 24 hours, 7064 cases of coronavirus, 8 deaths, and 1644 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the same period of time.

In parallel with the surge of coronavirus cases, Morocco has taken several measures to fight the pandemic, such as closing its borders with all the countries and permitting only exceptional flights to transport the stranded people.

In terms of the vaccination campaigns, Morocco has vaccinated more than 24 million and a half million with the first dose of anti-covid vaccine, while almost 23 million have been vaccinated with 2 doses, and almost 3 million and a half million have taken their third dose.
