Morocco Strongly Condemns Targeting by Israeli Forces of Civilians Seeking Humanitarian Aid in Gaza

Morocco, whose King, Mohammed VI, chairs the Al Quds Committee, strongly condemns the targeting by Israeli forces of Palestinian civilians who were seeking humanitarian aid at the Al-Rashid Avenue, north of Gaza Strip, killing dozens and injuring hundreds, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, said Sunday in Riyadh.

Reaffirming "its absolute rejection" of international humanitarian law violations, the Kingdom of Morocco calls for "an independent and transparent investigation into this despicable act and for punishing the perpetrators", Bourita said during his meeting with the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
