Palestine’s Culture Minister Praises Roles of Morocco’s King in Protecting Al-Quds

Palestine’s Minister of Culture, Imad Hamdan, hailed, on Sunday during a visit to the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency’s headquarters in Rabat, the laudable role of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in protecting the Holy City and preserving its civilizational character.

The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency states in a press release that the Palestinian Minister expressed, during a working session with the Agency’s Managing director, Mohamed Salem Echerkaoui, attended by Palestine’s ambassador to Rabat, Jamal Choubki, his wish to concentrate efforts to consolidate and consecrate the Palestinian narrative and protect the Arab-Islamic identity of the Holy City.

The Palestinian official expressed his department's willingness to examine ways of strengthening cooperation and partnership with the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency in areas of common interest, praising the Agency's strong presence and activities in Al-Quds, the press release adds.

The Palestinian Minister visited The Al-Quds Committee's permanent exhibition at the Agency's headquarters in Rabat, while receiving a briefing on the Moroccan Cultural Center in Al-Quds and the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency's programs and activities in support of the Holy City's main cultural centers.
