Air France to link Between Tangier, Paris as of June

As of June 3, 2021, the French Airline “Air France” will link between Tangier and Paris with two direct flights in a week during June, while in July and August, the number of weekly flights will rise to 3.

This air route between Tangier’s Ibn Battuta Airport and Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris is part of a partnership between Air France and the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT).

During June, the weekly flights will be operated on Thursdays and Sundays, while in July and August will be operated on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, according to the ONMT.

This direct air route will strengthen the French Airline's presence in five Moroccan cities, which are Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakesh, Agadir, and now Tangier.

Adel El Fakir, the Director-General of the Moroccan National Tourism Office, said in a press statement that the agreement of launching this new air route between Morocco ad France came after a regional tour carried out by the office to find out the needs of tourism professionals.

According to many observers, the direct flights between Tangier and Paris will also diversify travel offers for Moroccan living in Europe, mainly in France, in the next summer, as well as for worldwide tourists.
