Morocco attracts Colombians Tourists, El Tiempo says

Morocco, a "country of dreams", fascinates more and more Colombian tourists, especially after the abolition of visas by both countries, writes the daily El Tiempo.

In an article written by Andrés Hurtado Garcia under the title "Morocco, land of dreams", the newspaper recalls that thanks to the dynamic exchanges between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries, travelers from both countries no longer need a visa to travel to either country.

Thus, Colombians are increasingly interested in a trip to Morocco and more and more curious to know everything about the Kingdom, according to the daily.

"Morocco is one of the six countries that every enlightened traveler and lover of beauty should know," says the author of the article.

The newspaper also recalls the main writers inspired by the Kingdom and its culture, citing in particular Paul Bowles, Juan Goytisolo, William Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg who spent long stays in Tangier.

Saint-Exupéry, who wrote, for some, the most beautiful tale of world literature, The Little Prince, during his passage through the south of Morocco, then occupied by Spain (…), without forgetting Yves Saint Laurent, the fanatic lover of the city of Marrakech.
