Morocco-Belgium Friendship E-Challenge winners receive awards

The Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Brussels held Wednesday an award ceremony for the winners of the first edition of the Morocco-Belgium Friendship E-Challenge, a competition aimed at discovering and promoting young Moroccan talents in various disciplines.

On this occasion, symbolic prizes were awarded to five winners aged 9 - 15 years, who participated in this competition with videotaped performances of their choice.

Speaking at the ceremony, Morocco's Consul General in Brussels, Abderrahmane Fyad, described the Morocco-Belgium Friendship e-Challenge as an additional platform for our young Moroccan talents to express themselves, while helping to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two kingdoms, Morocco and Belgium.

This competition aims to highlight the cultural, artistic, athletic and innovation potential of Moroccans around the world, particularly in Belgium.

It also aims to consolidate the culture of belonging and strengthen the ties of attachment to the motherland, according to the Consulate.

This event is part of the activities aimed at consolidating channels of communication and interaction with the Moroccan community in Brussels, despite the exceptional circumstances related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
